📄 Overview

This project aims to enhance engagement with the Snoqualmie Valley Museum by creating an interactive, web-based virtual museum experience. Designed for a diverse audience. This will include adults users, people with adaptive or special needs, local Snoualmie Valley residents, and research professionals. The platform will make Snoqualmie Valley history accessible to a broad range of users.

The virtual experience will feature 360° or 3D tours of museum rooms, and eventually it will provide a focus on specific exhibits. Users can zoom in on artifacts, access detailed historical information, and navigate related topics based on personal interests. The platform will encourage continued engagement by offering paths for exploration, opportunities for user feedback. There will also be options to support the museum financially or through other contributions.

To expand reach and community involvement, the virtual tours and interactive video content will be easily shareable through social media links. This project supports the museum’s mission by strengthening community engagement, preserving historical credibility, and making local history more accessible to both local and remote audiences.
